CSB Director

Jakub Kwaśny, Ph.D.

Assistant professor at the Department of International Economic Relations at CSB, doctor of economic sciences in the discipline of economics and finance. Until now, he was the director for the development of postgraduate studies at CSB CUE.

Expert of the CUE Public Policy Center and the Future Industry Platform Foundation. He has experience in the supervisory bodies of companies in the water and heating sector.

Member of the Board of the Polish Economic Society, Economic Society of Thessaloniki and the international research group PGV - Pays du Groupe de Visegrad.

Active local government official - councilor since 2006, and Chairman of the City Council in Tarnow since 2018.

Member of the Polish delegation to the Committee of the Regions of the European Union and Chairman of the Tarnow Revitalization Committee.

In the years 2012-2017 he was the chairman of the Program Council of Radio Krakow, and in 2011-2015 the Social Council of the Szczeklik Hospital in Tarnow and the Specialist Clinic Complex.
