Program Organization

Executive MBA studies last 2 years (4 semesters), during which classes divided into competence areas are conducted. The third and fourth semester is additionally dedicated to write a final dissertation.

The studies comprise 1750 hours (500 class hours and 1250 hours of personal work);

100% of classes are conducted in English. English is used during some assessments, examinations and while preparing and defending the MBA dissertation.

The meetings are held on:

  • Friday between 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.,
  • Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

There are 10 meetings per academic year (once or twice a month).

The classes are conducted in diverse forms: lectures, discussions, debates, case studies, workshops, company visits, decision games and simulation activities to encourage networking, exchange of knowledge and experience between program participants. Courses are led by one or more instructors, depending on the topic and its requirements.

The program offers the core module courses, as well as elective courses and participation in International MBA Congress. Elective courses are a flexible part of the curriculum enabling program personalization. They are delivered through e-learning platforms and composed of a selection of online courses targeting current trends and challenges of the business world. As a result, students of each edition receive an exceptional program adapted to their expectations and needs.

Executive MBA Program includes two Study Trips: one in Poland and one to partner school. Students have an opportunity to develop their communication skills and improve the ability to work in a group. The Study Trip to partner school consists of business meetings and visits in companies where students expand their academic and practical business experience in an international environment.

Program price includes:

  • all obligatory courses carried out during the program,
  • Study Trip Poland*,
  • Study Trip to partner school*,
  • participation in two International MBA Congresses (on the first and the second year of the program),
  • books and printed teaching materials for the courses,
  • exams,
  • defense of the MBA dissertation,
  • supporting of the teaching process – access to Learning Management System,
  • access to Cracow University of Economics Library and its online databases,
  • dedicated sessions supporting career development,
  • access to HigherEd – EFMD Global Talen Network,
  • meetings with business leaders within the CSB Alumni MBA Club,
  • WiFi Internet access,
  • coffee breaks during the classes,
  • free parking at the University campus.

* The main costs of participation in the trip are covered by CSB CUE (travel costs not included).
